A madcap Macbeth! Comedy in tights! Youâ??ll be in stitches!
Barnaby Johns and his avant-garde theatre collective steps into the breach when the London Shakespeare Company fails to arrive on the opening night of their hit touring production of Macbeth.
Barnabyâ??s got problems. First, his Macbeth goes missing, then his next choice for leading man wants to leave the collective, one of his stalwarts wants to play every role (and Richard III), then his leading lady only wants to play one role... and then he has to face the stage manager of the original production to convince her that his Aussie version of the play is worth it. And if thatâ??s not enough, then he has to step on stage. God forbid!
